The Curl Collective is an Ohio-based salon and education studio focused exclusively on textured hair.

Founded by Voss in Germantown in 2012, the studio works one-on-one with clients to build wash routines, color plans, and styling systems that last beyond the salon visit — because most haircare advice falls apart the moment you leave the chair.

What we do

• Salon services — cuts, color, and curl-pattern coaching at our Germantown studio.
• Online courses — for everyone outside Dayton who can't get to the chair.
• The blog — short notes from twelve years of working with curls.

Our approach

We don't sell ourselves as the only experts. There are stylists across the country who know more than us about specific things. What we do offer is plain-language teaching — no gatekeeping, no jargon, no upsell.
